Ed Reed began building in high school and quickly rose through the construction ranks. Before founding Adventure Park Contractors in 2008, he served as VP of a semi-custom homebuilder, overseeing subdivision development, field operations, and cross-functional teams from landscape to admin.

When the indoor trampoline park industry was just taking off, Ed helped design and develop a patented trampoline system.

Committed to raising the bar for safety and performance, Ed became a founding board member of the International Association of Trampoline Parks (IATP) and helped lead the ASTM subcommittee that created the F2970-13 standard for trampoline park construction.

Today, Ed continues to lead with hands-on experience, industry vision, and a deep understanding of what makes parks safe, functional, and profitable.

With over 25 years in senior management roles at companies like WorldCom, PeopleSoft, and Oracle, Melanie brings deep expertise in project and program management to Adventure Park Contractors.

She oversees day-to-day operations, systems, and team support—ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. Melanie is passionate about customer care, team culture, and creating tools that empower field success.

Off the clock, she’s a cookbook collector, travel lover, and proud mom and grandmother.

With over a decade of experience in HR, accounting, and finance, Shannon Garlets has been a key part of our team since the early days. Her background in construction and adventure park development gives her a unique edge in managing the complexities of our operations. Shannon loves seeing our projects progress across the country and takes pride in keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes.

Outside of work, Shannon is happiest outdoors with her five dogs—each a different breed, from large too small. She’s a true animal lover, always up for an adventure with her pups, and never far from something pink.

Bill brings decades of hands-on construction experience to his role as Project Manager. Starting in the trades at 15, he now leads the full build process for indoor adventure and trampoline parks, ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and built to last.

Bill loves the energy of seeing a finished park come to life—especially through the eyes of kids experiencing it for the first time. Off the job site, he’s a former coach and a loyal Colorado Avalanche and Denver Broncos fan.

Mike thrives in the dynamic world of construction and project management, where no two days are ever the same. He enjoys the challenge of solving complex problems and finds real satisfaction in seeing a project come to life—being able to say, “Wow, look at what I built,” is what drives him.

Outside of work, Mike is passionate about family, fitness, and nutrition. He’s an avid golfer, a skilled cook, a fan of heavy metal music, and a die-hard Colorado Avalanche supporter.

With 16 years in the indoor trampoline and adventure park industry, Jimmy manages full builds and leads all attraction installations. He was part of one of the first U.S. teams to design and build a patented indoor trampoline system, and he thrives on transforming raw spaces into clients’ dream parks.

Jimmy enjoys the challenge of traveling for projects, navigating building codes, and experiencing the variety of life across the country. At home, he’s all about family time—whether it’s trying new foods, exploring the outdoors, or simply goofing around with his kids.

With 25 years in the construction industry, Cesar brings unmatched expertise to every project. Known as a jack of all trades—and a master of many—Cesar specializes in finishing work and ensures the job gets done right, down to the last detail. His deep experience and hands-on approach make him an invaluable part of the team.

Outside of work, Cesar is a passionate sports fan. He loves hockey and proudly supports the Colorado Avalanche. He’s also an avid soccer player and enjoys staying active. At home, you’ll find him playing cards or spending quality time with his family—especially with his grandson, the apple of his eye.

Gerardo has spent his entire career in construction, with experience across the trades, residential, and commercial sectors. With 10 years in the indoor trampoline and adventure park industry, he plays a key role in helping to finish projects, ensuring everything is completed with precision and attention to detail.

His diverse skill set makes him an invaluable part of the team, particularly when it comes to the final stages of construction.

Outside of work, Gerardo is a soccer enthusiast and enjoys spending quality time with his kids. On his days off, he loves to relax and catch up on sleep.
